GLOBAL CLIMATE STRIKE

The closest Global Climate Strike will take place in DC on September 20, 2019 from 11AM-2PM.

We will meet in front of McKeldin Library at 9:30AM to go to DC.

WHY GET INVOLVED?

While UMD is committed to reducing greenhouse gases, we are striking to urge UMD and leaders worldwide to take even more ambitious climate action.

FACULTY & STAFF PLEDGE OF SUPPORT

We are calling on faculty to cancel their classes on Friday, September 20 and for faculty and staff to sign a letter of support for student strikers.
